~ CFB Esquimalt Naval and Military Museum staff assist with research enquiries. We can help to provide access to our extensive vertical files, photo database and archival resources. We regularly support and give guidance to individuals researching the careers and activities of family members who served in Canada’s Armed Forces.

~ Museum staff arrange educational guided and self-guided tours of the exhibits and displays located in Naden Buildings 37 and 39. We work together with Base schools and training programs, as well as private groups and organizations, to set up tours that are geared to interest levels and knowledge.

~ Through new permanent and temporary exhibits and displays, we seek to increase understanding and awareness of the contribution made by the Navy and Army on the west coast – to Canada, to our community, and to the wider world.

~ The Delamere Room, the museum’s conference space in Building 37, Naden, is used regularly for meetings by the Base leadership, by organizations such as the Royal Canadian Navy Benevolent Association, and by external organizations like the organizing committees for the Pacific Tattoo and the Victoria-Esquimalt Military Re-enactors Association (VEMRA).

The museum also guest hosts monthly meetings of groups like the Submariners Association of Canada (SAOC) West, and the Victoria Model Shipbuilding Society (VMSS).
